Another problem women with Osteogenesis Imperfecta must be concerned about is whether they will be able to have children or not due to their smallness in stature and crowded internal organs, which brings us to the discussion of the need for parenting tips. Pregnancy is a possibility; however, the pregnancy will be very difficult. It is not wise for women with Osteogenesis Imperfecta to become pregnant, because not only does the child have every possibility of developing the disease, but the pregnancy could result in the death of the mother, child, or both.

An interesting pregnancy fact, not just parenting tip is that it is estimated that women with the brittle bone disease who become pregnant only represent about one in twenty-five thousand pregnancy’s that occur.
